102, and Counting …

Over time, this gem has had 53 million plus views on this YouTube site alone.

I myself have contributed at least 100 of those clicks.

Why, just this morning I eked in another two, and I’m for sure gonna do a few more before this session ends.

*******

Not only is this video beautifully thought-out and choreographed … to a tune called Praan that has lyrics like: “I feel my limbs are made glorious by the touch of this world of life. And my pride is from the life-throb of ages dancing in my blood this moment.”

But it also is feeding pure Joy into a brain that spent 19 days straight working overtime with databases, code sustainment, and standard operating procedures.

Which then had to endure more of the same at night as my self-conscious got in on the action.

Of course.

Sigh.

In full disclosure?

Yeah, I only have myself to blame for not putting in some breaks in my work schedule.

What can I say? I love what I do.

My job checks many boxes on my list of things that make me happy.

As an early-on acknowledged failed painter, I’ve made sure that this software engineering gig includes innovations and imaginations that pushes the balloon beyond the formulaic square rigid walls holding it inside.

I’m pretty good about mixing my paycheck expectation with the flare that is me.

That being said: Creativity has largely been asleep in my humble little abode these past few weeks-ish.

So, I’m fixing that glitch, rather surprisingly so, when I stumbling upon the Matt video made in 2005.

I remember seeing it for the first time in and around 2015 and literally loving every corner of its message.

It’s both emotionally inspiring and mentally transformative to watch the world dance as a community for 4 minutes and 29 seconds.

Not to mention, Palbasha Siddique has a kick-ass voice.

Thanks again, Matt, wherever you are.

Happy Saturday. I’m going outside.
